GSN was founded in early 2020 because of the crisis the world was experiencing, which brought so much negativity, despair, and worry. The “Down Side” so to say. Having the desire on our team to make a positive impact in the world, the idea for this company was birthed and the plan to provide a light on all the good things we could find. This plan was implemented as fast as possible.
We aim to share real stories from our very own writers, as well as read submissions and contributors. We publish stories for our readers daily, and interact with them everywhere we can. There is enough negativity out there in the world and in the, and we wanted to take the time to celebrate all that is good out there!

Meet Our Team
Heather DeSantis
FounderHeather DeSantis is the CEO and Founder of Publicity for Good (PFG) and Good Side News. Former Miss Ohio International, she leads the firm with a mission to partner with companies who are committed to making the world a better place. Heather has been featured on ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, Entrepreneur, iHeart Media, Business Insider, MSN, Forbes and Inside Edition for her life of living and working full time from an Airstream travel trailer with her fiance Austin.
Austin Holmes
Co-FounderFounder and CEO of Stackgood.com. He formerly served in Naval Special Operations as an EOD Tech at Mobile Unit Three. A graduate of UCF, Austin is passionate about entrepreneurship and freedom, always trying to spread the message of both as much as he can. Austin and Heather currently reside in Morganton, NC about halfway between Asheville and Charlotte, living on a farm in their Airstream.
Kevin Crudo
Writer and PublicistKevin is a writer at Good Side News. He is from wine county Petaluma, California home of the world’s ugliest dog competition, and is currently living in the mountains of Asheville, North Carolina. Kevin received his Bachelor’s degree in Communication from Montreat College. His interests in writing include Sports, Video Games, Music, Animals, and the Outdoors.
