Hollywood celebrity, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, has been the target of several Instagram posts made by Ms. Orange County, Sanja Hatter recently. The reason? She wants to get him on a phone call so she can invite him to talk at the annual ‘Thrive: Make Money Matter’ conference.
In an Instagram post made by Hatter last October 13, the mom of two details how she’s been trying to get in touch with the former wrestler turned action superstar for years now, but couldn’t get through. Finally, she’s decided to try and get his attention by creating short videos about his companies, including Teremana Tequila.
“I’ve gone through the “proper” channels, and creative ones. Still nothing…” she writes. “My latest idea has been creating videos about The Rock’s companies, and hope he’ll notice. He shared one of my videos on his personal IG feed, and @teremana shared a different video of mine in their story!! That’s the closest I’ve been so far! I love how people that I don’t know have started cheering for me to connect with The Rock.”
Prior to the said post, Hatter had already uploaded three other videos on October 2, 8, and 9–all featuring Teremana Tequila and all asking for her followers to tag The Rock on her post.
The post she created on October 9 shows Hatter riding a skateboard while drinking tequila and listening to Fleetwood Mac’s Dreams. The post has since gone viral and received thousands of likes.
“I want to show people that it can be done,” Sanja explains. “The Rock is the busiest man on Earth. He’s always on the go; he never stops. He’s also the most requested speaker at Thrive: Make Money Matter. And I am doing this because of my community; the people who want him to speak there. I believe that all I need to make this happen is one phone call. It’s possible. So far, he’s already reposted one of my posts. I just need more people to help me get his attention so we can make that one phone call happen. We can make what people say the impossible become possible.”
